dB Broadcast has invested heavily in purpose-built premises and information technology systems to ensure the highest quality and value for our customers. This new specialised facility provides us with enhanced capability for the design, prefabrication and testing of large systems and includes a large Outside Broadcast Vehicle installation and test area.
Project management
Our staff have between them over 500 years experience in building broadcast systems - enough to ensure that time management and financial control estimates are realistic. Because of our continued growth, we have recently re-organised our management structure and responsibilities into focused groups, headed by experienced engineers.
This new management structure continues our policy of ensuring that our customers have constant access to senior project managers and information about their projects. This is further enhanced by our investment in information technology -"Magpie", an in house developed software program that enables all employees to input and access details of each project, from preparing quotations and ordering parts, to finalising and printing handbooks.

dB Broadcast's experience and expertise in the design, manufacture and installation of digital and analogue broadcast systems is extensive. Software Configuration
dB Broadcast employs IT engineers to configure the many software based products used within the broadcast industry.
Manufacture
dB Broadcast is one of the few systems houses in the UK that employs and trains its own wiring and production technicians. This approach ensures that our production quality is guaranteed at the highest levels and that projects can be managed confidently. Our technicians assemble and wire custom-built units through to the prefabrication of complete broadcast systems at our purpose-built premises in Cambridgeshire. Continuity is maintained by wiring technicians following through to the project installation on-site.
Testing
The dB factory has a dedicated test area of over 1,000 sq ft. All systems and equipment undergo full mechanical and electrical safety tests and our extensive range of test equipment enable us to complete comprehensive performance tests across the full range of broadcast systems both prior to installation and during on-site commissioning.
Training facility
dB Broadcast is meeting the challenge of the new digital era by investing in modern facilities, in information technology systems, in our people and in training. Our continuing success and growth, combined with the realisation of an industry shortage of qualified personnel has led to the introduction of our own structured training scheme.
These trainees are recruited from the local community and add value to dB Broadcast and to the industry as a whole by bringing enthusiasm, sustaining the work force of the future, maintaining standards and providing the experienced members of staff an opportunity to give something back to the industry.
